Welcome to the Sikh Vichar Manch-Thought Provoking Forum for Justice

Whether there is a difference between the Khalsa and the Sikh?

The Sikh follows only Sri Guru Granth Sahib where as the Khalsa is a 'pure person' and also follows ‘Rehat Maryada’ in  addition to Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
Can’t it be defined so, the Khalsa and the Sikh in the context of ‘The meaning of Khalsa’?

Please Comment-Thanks

As to why we are playing politics in the name of the Khalsa and the Sikh?

In addition to the above, please consider the following views on ‘My Gurdwara’s Human Rights Committee?  and decide as to why we are playing politics in the name of the Khalsa and the Sikh?

My Gurdwara’s Human Rights Committee?
By Balbir Singh Sooch*

“Being a Sikh is being an activist
- and it is our responsibility as Sikhs to protect the human rights for any individual or community suffering”

That’s very good thought, “being a Sikh is being an activist - and it is our responsibility as Sikhs to protect the human rights for any individual or community suffering.”

It is already being practiced by me in the name of forum, ‘Sikh Vichar Manch’ successfully so far. In the light of ‘Sri Guru Granth Sahib’, the Sikh Vichar Manch, a thought provoking forum for justice, is truly and only a voice of humanity that is the true face of Sikhism.

If at all anything done, deliberately and intentionally, against the spirit and the teachings of   ‘Sri Guru Granth Sahib’ in violation of   the final order and the affirmation of the sacred text Adi Granth by Guru Gobind Singh in October, 1708, the tenth Guru in Sikh tradition as his successor, terminating the line of human Gurus, and elevating the text to Guru Granth Sahib, is and shall be an act against humanity and must always be considered so.
